Like at a normal VCFB we will have talks, exhibition desks and workshops, which will all take place in video conference rooms.

Talks will be streamed and recorded and will thus also be available after the event. As for any such format, good prepration is required. Also one has to spend some thought on how the talk can be presented in the virtual world in a video conference session. The talk can be pre-recorded or can be held live during the event (preferred). A Q&A session will be held at the end of the talk in a video conference room for similar interactivity as during a phyical event. We will of course gladly support you during the preparation and while you hold the talk. A time slot will be assigned as usual for talks and workshops.

Exhibitions and workshops on the other hand are real live-events, will not be recorded and are thus very similar to a workshop or exhibit at a physical event. A page on this Wiki replaces the bulletin board at an exhibition table of a physical event so you can present an overview of your objects there as an invitation of visitors to join you at your virtual table in a video conference room. Der Ausstellungstisch wird in der virtuellen Welt in einem BigBlueButton Videokonferenzraum abgebildet. Hier findet dann die Interaktion mit den 'Tisch-Besuchern' statt und die Exponate können in Aktion gezeigt werden. Da das ganze nicht aufgezeichnet wird, muss hier nichts aufwändig produziert werden. Der eigenen Kreativität sind jedoch auch hier keine Grenzen gesetzt.

Für deinen virtuellen Ausstellungstisch bestimmst du selber, zu welchen Zeiten der Raum geöffnet ist. Um das für dich richtige Format zu finden, kannst Du auch schon vor dem eigentlichen Festival jederzeit mit deinem BBB-Raum experimentieren. Gerne unterstützen wir dich dabei. Im folgendem Video findest Du eine kurze Demonstration wie man mit geringem technischen Aufwand eine Ausstellung im Internet zeigen kann. Verwendet wurden nur ein PC und ein Smartphone als Kamera. Es ist keine Softwareinstallation auf den Geräten notwendig!

Sobald dein Beitrag ins Programm aufgenommen wurde, bekommst du einen Account für dieses Wiki und für den VCFB BBB Video Server. Du kannst dann eine oder mehrere Infoseiten zu deiner Ausstellung, deinem Vortrag oder deinem Workshop anlegen und mit einem BBB-Server Raum experimentieren.
