According to the third SARS-CoV-2 infection control measures ordinance of the city of Berlin, events in closed rooms are currently possible under certain conditions. For the VCFB, §11 applies, which dictates the following:
Participants and visitors must be vaccinated, recovered or tested and must attest this at the entrance.
The presence of participants and visitors must be documented.
Face masks are compulsory for participants and visitors. Exception: Persons are at their assigned place and keep a distance of 1.5m to other persons. Therefore, exhibitors do not need to wear a mask as long as they are at their assigned place and keep a distance of 1.5m to visitors.
Only children up to the age of 6 are generally not required to wear a face mask.
Singing is not allowed during the event according to the regulation.
Concept in detail
At the entrance, the vaccinated/tested/recovered status of each participant and visitor will be checked.
At the entrance, access is documented, i.e. each visitor must hand in their personal details in the usual format on paper.
Participants and visitors receive a mark on the back of their hand so that they can leave and re-enter the event at short notice and without much effort.
The organiser will provide hand sanitizer at the entrance.
The organiser ensures compliance with the obligation to wear face masks.
