Hygiene concept

As of: October 3, 2021

General

According to the third SARS-CoV-2 infection control measures ordinance of the city of Berlin, events in closed rooms are currently possible under certain conditions. For the VCFB, §11 applies, which dictates the following:

  • Participants and visitors must be vaccinated, recovered or tested and must attest this at the entrance.
  • The presence of participants and visitors must be documented.
  • Face masks are compulsory for participants and visitors. Exception: Persons are at their assigned place and keep a distance of 1.5m to other persons. Therefore, exhibitors do not need to wear a mask as long as they are at their assigned place and keep a distance of 1.5m to visitors.
  • Only children up to the age of 6 are generally not required to wear a face mask.
  • Singing is not allowed during the event according to the regulation.

Concept in detail

  • At the entrance, the vaccinated/tested/recovered status of each participant and visitor will be checked.
  • At the entrance, access is documented, i.e. each visitor must hand in their personal details in the usual format on paper.
  • Participants and visitors receive a mark on the back of their hand so that they can leave and re-enter the event at short notice and without much effort.
  • The organiser will provide hand sanitizer at the entrance.
  • The organiser ensures compliance with the obligation to wear face masks.
